Terms and Condition
 
In the spirit of Mandela Day and Chefs with Compassion's mission to Rescue | Cook | Feed, I agree to the following:
1. I commit to rescuing food and participating in the 'Clean Out Your Pantry' initiative in the weeks leading up to Mandela Day.
2. Cooking a wholesome, nutritious soup for the beneficiary of my choice for at least 67 minutes on the Mandela Day weekend, between Friday 15 and Monday 18 July.
3. In the event that my beneficiary is a registered NPO, I will assist them to register as a Chefs with Compassion beneficiary (for recordkeeping purposes only).
4. I will use ingredients that are nutritious and fit for human consumption in order to produce a meal that is safe and delicious.
5. I understand that the cost of the ingredients, whether rescued or purchased, will be carried by me/my company.
6. I understand that a donation to Chefs with Compassion is required for participation in the #67000litres Challenge and I will make the payment immediately upon registration. All donations will be used to assist Chefs with Compassion in our mission to rescue food and provide it to a network of kitchens who feed food vulnerable people. I understand that the donation towards participation is as follows: a) Cooks – including home cooks, professional chefs, and culinary schools – R100 participation fee; b) Communities – community organisations affiliated to Chefs with Compassion – optional donation to CWC; c) Corporates –R5 000 for small and medium companies and R15 000 for large corporates
7. I will endeavour to assist Chefs with Compassion wherever possible to encourage participation in the #67000litres Challenge through my social media platforms and by word of mouth, and challenge friends, colleagues and other companies to do the same.
8. I opt in to receive communication from Chefs with Compassion.
